It’s hard to lay bare the absolute hideousness of living in a world where parents have to bury their children. Humans have always lived in that world, and always will. I believe there is great beauty and meaning to be found and constructed in this life, but we must find and construct that meaning in this world, and to do that, we must be honest about this world.
